Taste & See gladly serves customers from all backgrounds. As a custom bakery and catering company, we reserve the right to decline specific designs, messages, or event themes that conflict with our artistic vision or sincerely held beliefs.
Terms & Conditions - the basics
ALLERGENS
It is the responsibility of the customer to make us aware of any allergens or dietary restrictions during the initial consultation for custom orders. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform their guests of allergens included in our products; Taste & See will not be liable.
RUSH ORDER FEES
Custom order inquiries must be received at least 14 days in advance. Any orders placed outside of 14 days will incur a $65 rush order fee. Rush orders are only accepted on a case by case basis, and availability is not guaranteed.
PAYMENT TERMS
Custom order date are confirmed when the final payment is processed. Desserts will not begin production until the final payment is received in full. Payments are refundable if cancelled at least 14 days in advance of the set upon date. Any orders cancelled inside 14 days are non-refundable.
DELIVERY FEES
Delivery is available and charged at the current national mileage rate of 72.5 cents per mile. Charitable rates are available for certified 501(c)(3) orders at a rate of 14 cents per mile.
Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages.
A delivery date and time will be agreed by both parties, and if the customer is not at location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back with our premises and it will be the customer’s responsibility to collect the product.
T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).
T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.
Catering/ Dessert Bar Terms & Conditions
ORDER REQUESTS
Catering & dessert bar orders must be placed at least two weeks in advance. Any orders placed within that time frame will incur a $100 rush order fee. Rush orders are accepted on a case by case basis and availability is not guaranteed.
